1. Do I have to live in Oberlin to come to the Free Store?
A: No, you can be from anywhere. Everyone is welcome.
2. Do I have to show proof of my income?
A: Nope. Everyone is welcome.
3. How many items can I take?
A: You can take as much or as little as you need. You can donate items and take items if you want, but you don’t need to do both.
4. How is clothing arranged?
A: Clothing is arranged by size and season, not gender. We have labeled the clothing racks with signs and you can always ask a volunteer for help!
5. Are you a nonprofit organization? How do you make money?
A: We are an all volunteer organization. All of us are volunteers and community members and/or caregivers. All of the clothes and other items are free. No one makes money.
