The community celebrations on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day will include

a Potluck and video and dicussion at the church featuring

Rev. William Barber, one of the nation’s leading Civil Rights leaders.

Rev. Barber has headed the Moral Monday Movement in North Carolina and is the inspiration

for the New Poor People’s Campaign, which seeks to continue Dr. King’s work for economic justice.

Rev. Barber has also been a prominent voice of resistance

to the current political climate in this country,

appearing on numerous MSNBC and other news programs.

The dinner starts at 6:00 and the video at 7:00.
